Think of the party pilot as a cross between a driver, party host, and tour guide all-in-one. The heart and soul of the Thursty Pedaler. Responsible for the fun and safety of our riders from start to finish, they have an unforgettable charm, charisma, and love to celebrate.

A day in the life of a party pilot:
- Guide two-hour tours that showcase some of Ottawa’s best breweries, bars, and restaurants. Celebrate birthday parties, bachelorettes, corporate parties, album release parties, retirement parties, team outings & more. Pilots bring their flair to create the best experience possible; it’s their domain to maximize the memorable event for riders.
- Standard operations are Thursday through Sunday from May to October; busiest times are evenings and weekends. Great for bartenders, servers, baristas, actors, artists, students, comics, fitness trainers, musicians, and folks looking for a fun, seasonal role!
Responsibilities:
- Operating the party bike and safely driving groups to each partner location
- Entertain guests while safely navigating predetermined routes
- Narrate tours, explain rules, and lead our custom games while en route
- Ensure bikes are always safe, clean, and properly maintained
- Assist with maintenance, cleaning, and opening/closing of party bike storage container
- Snap group pics!
Requirements:
- Upbeat and engaging
- Responsible and safety-conscious
- Punctual and extremely reliable
- Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Clean motor vehicle driving record and criminal record check
- Availability: All of our party pilots come with various availability due to other jobs and commitments. We get it! We'll chat with you about what makes sense for your life, but regular weekend shifts, including evenings, is a part of the gig.
